This year I am grateful that we still have my mother-in-law with us. Last year at Thanksgiving she gave us quite a scare!
I am also so grateful that we will be able to recreate this family photo at least one more time before my son’s full commissioning into the US Navy this coming May.
Holidays will start to take on a completely different meaning as our parents continue to age and my son sets out to protect our country.
