Selecting a Marketing AgencyI like to wear one type of sock: white. The same style every day. You won’t catch me wearing crazy patterns, mismatched, or heaven forbid, a hole in the toe. That could REALLY ruin my day. Socks are the one item every morning I’ve already decided upon, one drawer of a million little white socks. They’re a good fit, they offer me just what I need.

Finding a marketing agency can often be a stressful process, but does it need to be? Like selecting the right pair of socks, aren’t you looking for the best overall fit? But what factors make an agency the best fit? Here are some questions you should ask yourself and your prospects when searching for the right agency for your business.

Do you need them?

Everyone needs socks! No matter your budget or your industry, a marketing agency can help promote your brand. A well-versed agency can help you bolster areas where your company is lacking in web, multimedia, print and community marketing. An agency can also develop a strategic plan for your company’s future and provide ongoing guidance.

Do they offer enough versatility?

The perfect pair of socks works with a wide range of outfits. After evaluating your company’s needs, it is important to consider the versatility of your prospects. One-stop-shop agencies offer the advantage of less communication with as many people, helping you accomplish your marketing needs seamlessly. You wouldn’t wear white tube socks with business slacks, so avoid an agency that isn’t versatile enough to meet ALL your needs.
