PRIME Welcomes Charlie Hagel

We’ve said it before — recently, in fact. Our team is growing, and we’re at it again. This time, PRIME® welcomes Charlie Hagel and is excited to see what he can do. As our web team continues to develop, learn more about its new member and what he brings to the keyboard.

Prior to PRIME

Born and raised in Stillwater, Charlie is one of 12 children in his family. Yep, 12. “Specifically, I’m No. 9,” he said.

Growing up in a family that size teaches one about teamwork — and tolerance. “It was nice always having people to hang out with and play with growing up,” Charlie said, noting that he and his siblings would often play football or baseball in the yard. “And it definitely made me a more patient roommate,” he added.

Charlie studied computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. But his childhood ambition was to become a firefighter, “Mainly because they got to wear cool fireproof clothing and drive the big trucks,” he admitted.

Now, instead of big trucks, Charlie will help drive traffic to clients’ web pages.

Application of Skills

As a Junior Web Developer, Charlie will be part of PRIME’s team that works on a host of web projects. Those include, among other tasks, building and maintaining websites as well as helping to train clients on the intricacies of their sites and pages.

And Charlie’s previous experience as an IT System Administrator for a local managed service provider will come in handy.

“I’m excited to combine the coding skills I learned in school with the IT knowledge from my previous job to assist the PRIME® web team,” he expressed. In addition, Charlie said he is also looking forward to learning more about the professional side of web development and maintenance.

At the Backend

When he’s not building, fixing, or improving websites at work, Charlie likes to use his hands to, well, build, fix, and improve things around the house. “I’m a very hands-on person,” he said. “I also like to go hiking and I hope to visit every national park.”

With more than 400 national parks in the U.S., that sounds like an ambitious but satisfying endeavor. So far, Charlie has visited a number of parks including Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Hiawatha National Forest.

Ready to Get Started

As our web team continues to develop and PRIME® welcomes Charlie Hagel in his new role, we can’t wait to see his training and exuberance in action. This new Junior Web Developer will help to further build PRIME’s capabilities so that we can better assist our clients. Let us know how we can help your business succeed. Contact us today.
