POSITION OVERVIEW
PRIME is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Consultant to join our growing community marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned advertising sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and helping local businesses succeed through strategic community marketing solutions.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong prospecting skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for connecting businesses with impactful local advertising opportunities. This role combines outside sales, relationship management, networking, and strategic marketing consultation across print, sponsorship, and digital platforms.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, community involvement, and existing relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners
- Identify client goals, challenges, and marketing needs to recommend strategic advertising solutions
- Present and sell PRIME’s portfolio of community marketing products including print, sponsorship, and digital opportunities
- Conduct sales meetings in person, virtually, and by phone
- Consistently maintain and grow an active sales pipeline
- Accurately track sales activity, client communication, meetings, and opportunities within internal systems
- Collaborate with internal production, creative, and sales support teams to ensure successful campaign execution
- Provide exceptional customer service and ongoing account management to maintain and grow client relationships
- Deliver proof-of-performance reporting and campaign follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Assist in resolving account issues and support timely collections when needed
- Represent PRIME at networking events, community events, chamber functions, and industry-related activities
- Contribute positively to team culture and department sales goals
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or a Related Field
- 5+ years of proven success in advertising, media, or marketing sales
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and familiar with PC-based software
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently
- Comfortable prospecting and developing new business
- Passion for supporting local businesses and community engagement
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools preferred
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and team-first mentality
