As the PRIME<\/a> world continues to evolve and expand, we\u2019ve brought aboard some extremely talented folks to strengthen the team. And this recent addition is no different. PRIME\u2019s freshest copywriter may be the new kid on the block. But when it comes to crafting refined prose, Alec Tebben has got it (the copywrite stuff).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep It Local<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Growing up in Maple Grove, Alec is familiar with the community and its welcoming vibe. And he is delighted to cultivate those native connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his new role, Alec will write multi-platform print and digital copy for clients across a range of industries. \u201cI\u2019m excited to work at a company that is based here and partners with local businesses,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building Blocks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a kid, Alec hoped he\u2019d grow up to be a construction engineer of sorts, except with more colorful building blocks. \u201cI loved LEGO\u00ae<\/a>s,\u201d he said, \u201cso I wanted to be a LEGO set designer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, he opted to work with words and use them to assemble thoughtful sentences, paragraphs, and stories. Alec attended Taylor University<\/a>, a small, private college in Upland, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe campus is surrounded by cornfields, but it has a really close-knit community,\u201d he added. And it was there that Alec earned a Bachelor of Science in professional writing with a minor in creative writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using His Words<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining the PRIME Team, he worked part-time as a product flow specialist at Best Buy and as a freelancer for Baker Publishing Group<\/a>. \u201cI wrote press releases and interview questions for upcoming books and pulled excerpts from them to be used in magazines and other media,\u201d Alec explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PRIME, he expects to use and develop his skills on a variety of writing and creative projects, both for PRIME and its clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think my creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail will help me in my role as a copywriter,\u201d he said. \u201cI really love using words to accomplish different things, and I look forward to writing in new mediums and growing my skills.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And he\u2019s anxious to get started. \u201cI\u2019m excited to be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team that works hard and has fun,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simple Pleasures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

His career took Alec down a writing path, but he still enjoys the simple things in his free time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI still love collecting LEGO sets,\u201d he admitted. \u201cI like to watch shows and movies. Star Wars is my favorite.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alec is a big Minnesota Wild fan and enjoys venturing into the great outdoors, visiting parks to hit the trails for a walk or a hike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And even outside the office, Alec still scratches the writing itch. \u201cI do a little bit of fiction writing as well,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready, Set, LEGO<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Though he\u2019s not designing those colorful, interlocking plastic blocks, Alec has built a solid foundation for his career as a copywriter. And as the newest addition to PRIME<\/a>, he is already proving he\u2019s got the copywrite stuff to fit in, working on projects to help clients create their blueprint for success.
