Keep reading to learn more about this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PRIME<\/a> client spotlight on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lookoutbarandgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lookout Bar and Grill<\/a>, for which we pulled out all the creative stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With a host of plans, designs, and ideas on the horizon, one of Maple Grove\u2019s favorite hangouts strapped itself in for a smooth ride.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/SIGN-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"LOOKOUT-SIGN\" class=\"wp-image-8219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/SIGN-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/SIGN-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/SIGN-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/SIGN-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/SIGN-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>And because of PRIME\u2019s extensive capabilities and proven track record, the driving force behind the Lookout knew exactly where to turn. \u201cWe needed help with everything from our logo to our food truck and trailer designs to sponsorships,\u201d the Lookout owner Mike Kinnan said. \u201cAs a one-stop shop, we knew PRIME could provide all our marketing needs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe did a lot for the Lookout,\u201d said PRIME Art Director Brian Lauer, who spearheaded this heavyweight project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That included a new-look logo, thoughtful branding elements, custom-designed apparel, and specialized graphics for vehicle wraps \u2014 just for starters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>THE LOOKOUT LOGO REVISION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauer noted that a logo redesign offered the chance to both update and refresh the Lookout\u2019s old-fashioned feel.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/LOGO_BEFORE-AND-AFTER-300x232.jpg\" alt=\"LOOKOUT-LOGO-BEFORE-AND-AFTER\" class=\"wp-image-8207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/LOGO_BEFORE-AND-AFTER-300x232.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/LOGO_BEFORE-AND-AFTER-768x593.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/LOGO_BEFORE-AND-AFTER-240x185.jpg 240w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/LOGO_BEFORE-AND-AFTER.jpg 906w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Using the same font, Lauer cleaned it up for a sleeker and more modern feel \u2014 as well as versatility, which we\u2019ll touch on more in a minute. In addition, he rejuvenated the color to breathe new energy into this design while maintaining some of the originality of the Lookout\u2019s generations-old sentiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe used a brighter, more radiant blue, just to bring some new life into this,\u201d Lauer said. The fresh color adds an electric, eye-catching element that is also seen throughout the other components PRIME designed for the Lookout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>STRIKING GRAPHICS AND VEHICLE WRAPS<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ICE-RESURFACER-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"LOOKOUT-ICE-RESURFACER\" class=\"wp-image-8217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ICE-RESURFACER-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ICE-RESURFACER-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ICE-RESURFACER-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ICE-RESURFACER-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ICE-RESURFACER.jpg 2016w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Anyone who spots the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lookoutbarandgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lookout\u2019s<\/a> food truck will surely notice that new pop of color that simply demands attention. That\u2019s intentional. PRIME also deliberately designed the Lookout\u2019s vehicle graphics \u2014 on its food truck as well as on the Olympia ice resurfacer at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverosseo.com\/facilities\/ice-arena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Osseo Ice Arena<\/a> \u2014 for the best placement and highest visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBased on our experience with vehicle graphics,\u201d Lauer stated, \u201cwe kept in mind where things needed to land on the food truck. Additionally, Lauer noted, the QR code is prominently and plainly displayed above the truck\u2019s curbside window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One other piece to the overall design highlights this enterprise\u2019s third-era longevity and adds an intense burst to complement that energetic blue. \u201cThat \u2018established in 1958\u2019 seal is yellow to introduce a vibrant pop to the color palette,\u201d Lauer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe definitely took everything into account to make sure the truck looked good straight on and also in the round,\u201d Lauer added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>PRACTICAL AND DISTINCT BRANDING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with its \u201ccookout\u201d mantra, the Lookout\u2019s logo retained another familiar and important detail \u2014 a subtle visual piece that also preserves a hint of the old logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve used that double O as another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/what-we-do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">branding element<\/a>,\u201d Lauer said. \u201cYou can see it almost like a watermark on the vehicle graphics, and it\u2019s still an essential part of the updated logo.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The modernized logo also designed away that old-school wave effect, opting instead for a bolder and definitive presence. And it\u2019s still a legible focal point.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything considered, a satisfied client is the most rewarding aspect of a project of this scope. And Mike Kinnan was more than happy with the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey did a great job updating our logo and bringing our brand together,\u201d he said of working with PRIME. \u201cWe love our new image, and we owe it all to the PRIME Team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>OUR CAPABILITIES DON\u2019T STOP THERE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>PRIME also partnered with the Lookout for the graphics and design elements of the Lookout Loft, located inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maplegrovemn.gov\/274\/Ice-Arena\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maple Grove Ice Arena<\/a>.
