It\u2019s Father\u2019s Day this weekend and we remember those special moments that we shared with our fathers, grandfathers and those special influencers in our lives. Let\u2019s not forget to make new memories and preserve them for years to come, so when their future team members ask them to share fatherly advice from their dads and include photos, they can!<\/p>\n

We know that being a father is one of the toughest but most rewarding jobs you can have, so whether our dads are one of our closest friends or left us too soon, we celebrate them for loving us and for who they are!<\/p>\n

Growing up, my dad always told me to either \u201cSuck it up, sweet pea\u201d or \u201cClean your room.\u201d And I\u2019m just there, not listening. It\u2019s our thing.<\/p>\n

My dad always used to tell me \u201cBe who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind<\/em>.<\/em>\u201d This continuously reminds me to always be myself, do what I love, and to never judge others for showing who they are, because we are all a little weird.<\/p>\n

I spend a lot of time fishing with my father. Every time I leave the lake he tells me to \u201cWatch out for low flying aircraft.\u201d This is his way of saying drive safe<\/em>, especially when I\u2019m on my motorcycle.<\/p>\n

My dad has given me a handful of good advice, but the best advice he\u2019s shown me over the last 13 years, is to appreciate the little things in life, and to live every day like it\u2019s your last. He\u2019s had four types of cancer (three were very serious and life threatening), but he stayed extremely strong and positive, even on the worst days. He doesn\u2019t mess around! He has been in remission the past seven years, and still lives each day to its fullest!<\/p>\n

My dad taught me to be independent and to work hard. He pushed me to tackle projects and to be confident that I was capable, even if I\u2019d never tried a skill before. My dad has taught me to always be humble. He is the most hard-working person I know and I rarely hear him complain. We are pretty much the same person – it\u2019s so much fun that he is my dad!<\/p>\n

When you are out on the town with a friend, have your friend say in a really loud voice, \u201cHappy Birthday!\u201d You increase the chances of someone buying you a drink. My dad is full of very interesting advice. He is so much fun to be around.<\/p>\n
