Please join with Prime Advertising again this year to make this a season of giving back.<\/p>\n<p>We believe that it\u2019s important for local businesses and individuals to give back to their communities. For the last ten years, Prime has partnered with <a title=\"CROSS Services Rogers MN\" href=\"http:\/\/crossservices.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CROSS Services<\/a> to host a drive for food, toys, personal hygiene items, and household goods for area families in need. Located in Rogers, CROSS is a non-profit organization serving families and individuals in Rogers, Maple Grove, Osseo, Champlin (West), Corcoran, and Dayton. Services include a <a title=\"CROSS Services Food Shelf\" href=\"http:\/\/crossservices.org\/services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">food shelf<\/a>, <a title=\"CROSS Services\" href=\"http:\/\/crossservices.org\/services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clothing and household supplie<\/a>s at very low cost, Meals on Wheels, items for holidays and special occasions, and more.<\/p>\n<p>It may be difficult to fathom how many families in our very own communities are in need during the holidays and throughout the year. It is estimated that one in 10 households in Minnesota is affected by hunger. According to Hunger Solutions Minnesota, in 2015, Minnesotans made 3,281,389 visits to food shelves, the fifth consecutive year of visits topping the three million mark.<\/p>\n<p>CROSS is there to help. Each month, hundreds of individuals receive assistance from CROSS during their time of need. To do this, CROSS relies on community support from individuals and businesses.We need your help.<br \/>\nPlease consider supporting CROSS during our annual holiday Toy and Food Drive. We are accepting donations at the Prime office now until Thursday, December 15.<\/p>\n<h5>Currently CROSS is in need of the following food items:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Meat, fish, and protein \u2013 canned tuna, ham, or chicken, beef stew, chili, peanut butter, canned\/dried beans<\/li>\n<li>Fruits and Vegetables \u2013 100% fruit juice, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed potatoes<\/li>\n<li>Complete Meals \u2013 pasta and sauce, boxed meals, hearty soups<\/li>\n<li>Baking\/Condiments \u2013 flour, sugar, oil, syrup, gravy, ketchup, pancake mix<\/li>\n<li>Grains \u2013 cereal, rice, oatmeal<\/li>\n<li>Holiday items \u2013 turkey, ham, whole chicken; canned yams; canned fruits; boxed potatoes, rice, pasta; stuffing, gravy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Cleaning and personal care items are also needed:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Toothpaste\/Toothbrushes<\/li>\n<li>Shampoo\/Conditioner<\/li>\n<li>Soap<\/li>\n<li>Deodorant<\/li>\n<li>Lotion\/Lip Balm<\/li>\n<li>Feminine Hygiene items<\/li>\n<li>Razors\/Shaving Cream<\/li>\n<li>Diapers\/Wipes<\/li>\n<li>Toilet Paper\/Facial Tissue\/Paper Towels<\/li>\n<li>Cleaner\/Laundry Detergent\/Dish Soap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Make the holidays a little brighter for local children and teens in need with donations of:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Gift Cards<\/li>\n<li>DVDs<\/li>\n<li>Earbuds<\/li>\n<li>Books<\/li>\n<li>Sports T-shirts<\/li>\n<li>Hat &amp; Gloves\/Mittens<\/li>\n<li>Hooded Sweatshirts<\/li>\n<li>Games &amp; Puzzles<\/li>\n<li>Learning Toys<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Building SetsEspecially needed are items for boy and for kids age 12 and up.<\/p>\n<p>The CROSS Holiday Toy Shop at <a title=\"Lord Of Life Lutheran Church\" href=\"http:\/\/lordoflife.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lord of Life Lutheran Church<\/a> in Maple Grove is for parents or guardians of children ages birth through 18 who need extra support during the holiday season. Parents or guardians can stop by CROSS to register for the Holiday Toy Shop, and can choose gifts for their children during the event on December 17. The Holiday Toy Shop serves more than 900 local children.<\/p>\n<p>Create hope and bring joy to area families in need this year. Stop by the Prime office with your donations any time during our<a title=\"Prime Advertising Business Hours\" href=\"http:\/\/www.primeadvertising.com\/social-media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> regular business hours <\/a>Monday, November 21 through Thursday, December 15.
