Prime Advertising + Design recently welcomed back to the team another familiar face. Scott Heitkamp returns to PRIME and is excited about getting back to community marketing. Keep reading to learn more about Scott and how his previous experience will benefit the company and business owners in the community.
In Days of Yore
Back in the late 1990s, President and CEO Mark Murray was running PRIME out of his townhome and could count all its employees on one hand. Scott Heitkamp was part of that team, doing advertising sales and building skills he would continue to use throughout his career.
Growing up in Adrian, Minnesota, Scott wanted to be a professional baseball player when he got older. His college years and course of study, however, would eventually land him on a different kind of team, pitching ideas and fielding questions about business solutions rather than ground balls.
Scott attended Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, and Minnesota State University — Mankato, where he studied business administration. In the marketing and advertising industry for close to a quarter century, Scott has developed and sharpened his skills as an independent contractor as well as working with various direct mail products and indoor digital media.
Excited About Growth
With previous experience at PRIME and an eagerness to connect with clients, Scott is excited to grow with the company and the community.
In his role as PRIME’s newest Senior Marketing Consultant, Scott said he is most looking forward to utilizing his proven strengths in the field. And he’s enthusiastic about building relationships with new and existing clients while helping them find the most advantageous means of promoting their businesses.
Team Player
When he’s not busy connecting with business owners in the community, Scott enjoys playing golf and spending time with his kids and his girlfriend.
Going back to his childhood baseball aspirations, Scott said he’s always been part of the team wherever he goes. “I’m always willing to help everyone out,” he explained. That collaborative characteristic is sure to complement the synergy among the PRIME Team and be an all-around asset.
