SEO Specialist

The SEO Specialist is responsible for and supports all aspects of organic and paid search including strategy development, implementation, optimization, reporting, and analysis. We are looking for someone who is passionate about marketing our clients’ online presence. The candidate should be driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and personable with a can-do-attitude and who can multi-task several projects. This person must also possess excellent proofing capabilities.

Core Responsibilities
  • Research and strategize organic and paid search campaigns (e.g. keyword research, website optimization, and link building)
  • Analyze various sources (third party research, competition, past campaigns) to guide and create digital plans
  • Facilitate the management and growth of paid search accounts and ensure that the expectations of the clients are met
  • Analyze and report on Pay per Click campaign results and present to account managers and executive team
  • Develop or collaborate with copywriters on SEO-friendly content for our clients in various industries. Includes content for: web pages, blogs, email marketing, social media, and ad copy
  • Manage accounts to meet all project deadlines
  • Ability to post blogs on multiple platforms
  • Website content entry and quality assurance
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Required Skills & Experience

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certification within the last year
  • Proven success with PPC campaigns and ROI
  • Proficiency with MOZ, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, DataStudio, etc.
  • Copywriting experience
  • Interpersonal skills to work directly with clients
  • Positive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to follow-through on direction and tasks
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions
  • Must have the ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software as needed
  • Strong organizational, verbal, writing, and proofing skills
  • Strong knowledge of social networking sites and local Search Place Pages
 
Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic HTML knowledge
