Maple Grove, Minnesota continues to increase it’s weight as a destination city with all that it has to offer.  With more and more retail and dining options every day it seems, hotels are now popping up as well.  I’ve even heard that Maple Grove’s Shoppes, Fountains and Arbor Lakes areas have now pushed Maple Grove past the Mall of America for visitors … all though I don’t have a source on that claim or stat yet.

A group of local businesses has gotten together and led by the Visit Minneapolis North group, Maple Grove has created a winter community event called Mistletoe & Memories.  This event looks to be an annual happening and it runs over the holiday shopping season from November 23rd - until January 1st.  Events range from tree lightings to Santa Claus appearances to ornament making and more.  Most of the events are centered around family activities and shopping on the weekends … the two biggest holiday things I know of.

Prime has been involved since the start in planning and carrying out this great winter event and the website is now up and the Official Event Guide is soon to follow.  If your business has any interest in advertising (see more info) in the over 50,000 guides printed or online, holler at us ASAP as the marketing deadline is October 26th.  Check out the new website and hopefully you’ll take part in a few or all of the exciting events planned!
