Making Lunch For 12,777 Is Fun & Rewarding
Fifteen members of the Prime staff headed off to Feed My Starving Children, a local non-profit to help end child hunger, and in two hours put together enough meals to feed over 12,000 children.
It was both an eye opening and fun experience for us all. The facts are that 16,000 children in the world die from starvation each DAY. As the FMSC staff put it … each breath we take in an out, a child dies. That’s pretty horrific.
The good news is that we can help. We worked in two different assembly lines putting together sealed bags that each contained six meals. Each bag is a combination of chicken, vegetables, soy and rice and provides a chance to starving and malnourished children and families all over the world. Our 59 cases of food were headed to Swaziland, Africa.
Check out the photos below and you’ll see we had a great time working together for a greater cause then sweet websites or cool logo designs for the afternoon. We also know how to rock the hair net look! If you’re interested, you too can bring a group to FMSC or you can always donate. Just $60 feeds a child for an ENTIRE year.
