Website Redesign Project Puts A Focus On The Details

Minks Homes screenshot of websiteMinks Custom Homes is a client I’ve worked with for the past 5 years.  I helped them build their first website with the ability for them to internally update new models and homes for sale.  Five years ago, that was a pretty big deal, obviously not today.

Minks came in this spring and wanted to freshen up the site and also wanted to discuss what their customers are wanting from their site.  The goal is clear for Minks … to sell more homes in an efficient time frame.  It’s no secret that consumers use the internet heavily to choose their next home as many reports cite as high as 85% of all home searches start online.

Through our meetings it was agreed that Minks needed to focus on the details and making sure their potential customers got a hold of them.  Each home for sale should have endless information on it and be able to print it off, email a friend or save it to their favorites.  So in the website redesign we put a big focus on providing ample room to flush out the details, from the types of woods used, to room sizes, to area attractions and schools … as many details as possible.  We also integrated larger photos to show off all of the details and fine work Minks does.

We rolled the new site into place this week and we’re very proud of the new layout and abilities for both Minks and the users of the site.  Check out these specific pieces:

Thanks to Janna, Jeff and Luke for the great work on this project.
