With the iPhone making it’s long anticipated debut, people have been going nuts trying to get their hands on one.  Frankly, if the coverage was a bit better in Minnesota I’d probably be out buying up the rest of my contract at Verizon so that I could get one too. Today, the New York Post reported that shoppers bought over 700,000 iPhones over the weekend, which is about twice the projection.  Talk about a hot item! This has to rank up there with the Xbox 360 and PS3 releases.

After reading about all the features that come with the iPhone I started wondering what type of accessories are out there currently for this product.  I found a few that are pretty cool that iPhone users might want to check out:

• DLO has developed the Jam Jacket, an awesome protection case with many features.
  
  
• Belkin has a new Sports Armband for iPhone, a must for those who exercise frequently and can’t live without their phone and music attached to them.
  
  
• EveryThingiPhone.com has a great selection of accessories from many different manufactures.  They probably have something that will make your already revolutionary product pop even more when you show it off to your friends.

These are just a few of the what I’m assuming will be a plethora of accessories that will hit the market in the near future.  Also, make sure that if you’re putting music on your new iPhone, which I’m sure you are, that you have the latest version of iTunes.  Apple just released version 7.3. Better download it if you haven’t already.
